CRT new time-saving features include support for moving tabs between windows, and a button bar that allows you to map frequently used commands, scripts, and menu functions. An updated user interface delivers alpha transparency, Windows display themes, and drag-and-drop customization of the menu and toolbar. MSI support simplifies and automates distribution and installation.
Vandyke Software have made the decision to cease active development of CRT and concentrate on enhancing SecureCRT. Many organizations are turning off Telnet. SecureCRT can help with this transition, because Telnet can be used until it has been replaced by SSH1 or SSH2. CRT 6.1 will be the final version.
