Terms of Service

Welcome to Car.net.pk. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website www.car.net.pk, the app.car.net.pk web app and all related services (together, the "Service") operated by Car.net.pk ("we", "us"). By creating an account, posting an ad or using the Service in any way you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Car.net.pk

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the laws of Pakistan. You may use the Service on behalf of a business (for example a car dealership) only if you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms. Accounts are personal; you are responsible for everything that happens under your login, so keep your password and OTP codes private.

2. Our role

Car.net.pk is a classifieds platform. We provide the place where buyers and sellers meet; we are not a party to any sale between users. Unless an ad is clearly marked "Managed by Car.net.pk", we do not own, inspect, hold, insure or deliver the vehicles listed, and we do not guarantee their condition, ownership, price or documents. The transaction, payment and transfer of ownership are entirely between the buyer and the seller.

3. Posting an ad

• You may only advertise a vehicle you own or are authorised to sell, and every detail in the ad — make, model, year, mileage, registration, price, photos — must be true and current.
• Photos must be of the actual vehicle. Stock images, other people's photos or images with third-party watermarks are not allowed.
• One ad per vehicle. Duplicate ads, "bait" prices and ads for vehicles that are already sold will be removed.
• Ads run for the number of days shown when you post (usually 60) and can be renewed. Sold ads should be marked sold immediately.
• We may edit, reject, hide or delete any ad that breaks these Terms or Pakistani law, with or without notice, and we may limit the number of free ads per account.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

You agree not to: post stolen, unregistered or non-transferable vehicles; misrepresent accident history, mileage or documents; use the Service to collect users' phone numbers for marketing; harass other users; post abusive, obscene or misleading content; attempt to bypass our verification, quotas or security; scrape or copy listings; or use the Service for any illegal purpose. We cooperate with law-enforcement requests made through proper legal channels.

5. Paid services

Some features — ad packages, featured and top placement, urgent tags, homepage slots, dealer subscriptions, inspections and banner advertising — are paid. Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Manual payments (bank transfer, JazzCash, Easypaisa) are activated once we verify your proof of payment, normally within 24 hours. Boosts and packages start when activated and are not transferable. Fees are non-refundable once a paid service has started, except where required by law or where we are unable to deliver the service.

6. Dealers

Dealer accounts must provide accurate business information and documents for verification. The verified badge is granted at our discretion and may be withdrawn for repeated user complaints, fraudulent listings or unpaid invoices. Dealers are responsible for their staff accounts and bulk uploads.

7. Managed selling and services

When you use "Sell to Car.net.pk", inspections, insurance or finance services, additional terms shown at the time of booking apply. Inspection reports are our professional opinion based on a visual and mechanical check at the time of inspection; they are not a warranty. Insurance and finance offers are provided by partner companies and are subject to their own approval and terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Car.net.pk name, logo, design and software are our property. You keep ownership of the content you post but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and promote it (including with our watermark) on the Service, in search engines and in our marketing for as long as the ad is live and reasonably thereafter.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between users, inaccurate listings, fraud by a user, downtime, data loss or events outside our control. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, and we may keep records of removed ads and suspended accounts to prevent further abuse.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
